True And False Jerusalems

This Jerusalem, mentioned in Joshua Chapter 10, was not confirmed by God Almighty. Remove it. The Jerusalem being mentioned here is not the Jerusalem established by God, Yahweh, the Lord of the Hosts.

There is Jerusalem in this world?

Chukwudi: Yes.

God the Father was saying that a New Jerusalem shall come down from heaven.

Chukwudi: Yes.

How many Jerusalems?

Chukwudi: Three Jerusalems.

Holy Caleb: This Jerusalem of Joshua Chapter 10, the true Jerusalem of Israel and the New Jerusalem from heaven. This Jerusalem in Joshua Chapter 10 was not approved by God. Stop calling it Jerusalem.

The Head: Call it Jerusa, because they were wiped out.

God wants His word to be one, so that by His word this Jerusalem was be removed. Since it was removed, there was nothing again like Jerusalem there. This city, Jerusa, were answering Jerusalem, but they were not doing the will of God. That city did not continue. God established the true Jerusalem.

The Great Conspiracy

Now it came to pass when Adoni-Zedek king of Jerusa heard how Joshua had taken Ai and had utterly destroyed it — as he had done to Jericho and its king, so he had done to Ai and its king — and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel and were among them, that they feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city, like one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all its men were mighty. Therefore Adoni-Zedek king of Jerusa sent to Hoham king of Hebron, Piram king of Jarmuth, Japhia king of Lachish, and Debir king of Eglon, saying, "Come up to me and help me, that we may attack Gibeon, for it has made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel." Therefore, the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusa, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon, gathered together and went up, they and all their armies, and camped before Gibeon and made war against it. Joshua 10:1-5

The Gibeonites Invite Joshua To Deliver Them

And the men of Gibeon sent to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal, saying, "Do not forsake your servants; come up to us quickly, save us and help us, for all the kings of the Amorites who dwell in the mountains have gathered together against us." Joshua 10:6,7

When the Gibeonites came and delivered messages to Joshua that was when sacrifice was being offered to God. After the offering of sacrifice, God told Joshua to rise and destroy the city, that Himself God Almighty was with Joshua.

Why Israelites Offer Sacrifices To Yahweh

Holy Caleb: Perfect offerings are very important sacrifices to Yahweh, the Lord of the Hosts. From time to time, the Israelites were offering sacrifices to God the Father in heaven.

Why did the Israelites offer sacrifices to God?

Chukwudi: Number 1, for God to deliver the Israelites from various battles.

Number 2, for the Israelites to have victory over their enemies.

Number 3, for God to bless the Israelites with good health and long life.

Number 4, for the Israelites to recover all the Promised Land.

Holy Caleb: Son of man, yourself answered very well, and you answered according to your understanding. It shows that yourself is developing.

Son of man, the reasons why we, the Israelites, were offering sacrifice to God, were:

Chukwudi: Number 1, it is one of the laws given by God to the Israelites.

Number 2, we use the sacrifice to remember God Almighty, Yahweh, the Lord of the Hosts.

Number 3, we use the sacrifice to make God have joyfulness and gladness of heart.

Number 4, as we make God have joyfulness and gladness of heart, even so God blesses us and gives us joyfulness and gladness of heart.

Number 5, it is the blessings and mercy of God to abide with us, with our children and children's children.

Number 6, it makes the powers of the Holy Spirit to become surplus, abundant. Even so it makes the power of victory, the power of blessings, favours, success and prosperity to be active.

Number 7, it makes the spiritual gifts, gift of the Holy Spirit, to become radiant.

Number 8, that is why no other nation is able to defeat the Israelites. Ourselves are always unbeatable, a very strong nation.

Holy Caleb: Number 9, for humanity to know that there is a God in heaven, who created the heavens and the earth, the only one humanity should serve and worship.

And number 10, to join our brethren in heaven, the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven, in serving and worshipping God, even so by offering sacrifices to God Almighty at the same time the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven are doing so in heaven.

What A Great Slaughter!

And the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you." So Joshua ascended from Gilgal, he and all the people of war with him, and all the mighty men of valour. Joshua therefore came upon them suddenly, having marched all night from Gilgal. So the Lord routed them before Israel, killed them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, chased them along the road that goes to Beth Horon, and struck them down as far as Azekah and Makkedah. And it happened, as they fled before Israel and were on the descent of Beth Horon, that the Lord cast down large hailstones from heaven on them as far as Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than the children of Israel killed with the sword. Joshua 10:8-11

Why Joshua Commands The Sun To Stand Still

Then Joshua spoke to the sun, moon and everything on the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel:

"Sun, stand still over Gibeon!!!

And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon!!!

Stand still all the earth!!!

The king of Glory, Yahweh, the Lord of the Hosts,

is coming down from heaven,

The Lord, strong and mighty, is coming down!

With the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven.

The King of Glory comes down,

with great power and glory,

and with everlasting victory for His people, the Israelites.

So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped. Behold, all stood at attention.

Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day. And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the Lord heeded the voice of a man; for the Lord fought for Israel. Then Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to the camp at Gilgal. Joshua 10:12-15

When Joshua was commanding the sun to stand still, was it only the sun that he commanded?

That was number 1 question.

As Joshua commanded the sun to stand still, even so Joshua asked the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven to take their positions. Joshua gave this command because he saw God coming down from heaven.

When God came down, why did Joshua command the sun to stand still?

Son of man, why?

Joshua gave this command because the sun means two things. One is power and authority all over the world. The other meaning is the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven, because God was coming down.

God Almighty took His position in all battlefields - past, present and future - in all the world, in all things, all over the world. That is the spiritual meaning of “sun stand still”. Joshua commanded the sun to stand still, both physically and spiritually. It is this spiritual meaning that myself is explaining to you. Physically, for the sun to stand still, means that all the powers of the enemies are disabled by the presence of God. The ordinary explanation by people is that the sun was to stand still, till the Israelites defeated all their enemies, before the sun would set. But that was not what happened.

Joshua commanded the sun to stand still, so that victorious powers shall come down from heaven, and the powers were coming down from heaven, because that was when God, Yahweh, the Lord of the Hosts and the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven were coming down into this world. Joshua gave the command for the victorious powers to come from heaven. This was necessary because it was not only the Israelites that were in the battlefield. God the Father was present in the battlefield. Also, the Hosts of Angels and Saints of Heaven were present.

Son of man, as Joshua commanded the sun to stand still, myself told you that all power and authority all over the world stood still, submitted, because the power above all powers had come in.

Son of man, the power will remain with the Israelites forever. God came down from heaven and gave the Israelites everlasting power and victory. From that very time God came down, there is no other nation that shall be more powerful than the Israelites. No other nation shall be greater in wisdom, in strength, in battle or in the power of the bone – manpower. That was why Joshua gave the command for the Israelites to understand the power and victory which God has given them on that day.

Great Signs And Wonders

When the enemies saw that God of Israel has come down, into the battlefield, they saw the great and wonderful things that happened.

What did they do?

They tore their dresses. When they tore their dresses, that was when they bowed down to God Almighty, Yahweh, the Lord of the Hosts. They bowed down to God, without knowing what they were doing, because Hosts of Angels have taken positions. They were sore afraid, and therefore, they bowed down to God the Father. After bowing down to God, their hearts melted, and they flee away and hid themselves inside caves.

The Amorite Kings Executed

But these five kings had fled and hidden themselves in a cave at Makkedah. And it was told Joshua, saying, "The five kings have been found hidden in the cave at Makkedah."

So Joshua said, "Roll large stones against the mouth of the cave, and set men by it to guard them. And do not stay there yourselves, but pursue your enemies, and attack their rear guard. Do not allow them to enter their cities, for the Lord your God has delivered them into your hand." Then it happened, while Joshua and the children of Israel made an end of slaying them with a very great slaughter, till they had finished, that those who escaped entered fortified cities. And all the people returned to the camp, to Joshua at Makkedah, in peace. No one moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.

Then Joshua said, "Open the mouth of the cave, and bring out those five kings to me from the cave." And they did so, and brought out those five kings to him from the cave: the king of Jerusa, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon. Joshua 10:16-23

Israelites’’ Feet On The Neck Of Their Enemies

So it was, when they brought out those kings to Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the captains of the men of war who went with him, "Come near, put your feet on the necks of these kings." And they drew near and put their feet on their necks. Then Joshua said to the Israelites, “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage, for thus the Lord will do to all your enemies against whom you fight." Joshua 10:24

Why did Joshua ask the Israelites to step their feet on the necks of the kings?

What is neck?

What is a neck stepped on?

The spirit of truth was taken from the enemies, because they did not know the truth. They did not want to seek for the truth and they did not want to say the truth. Themselves, the five kings, saw the truth and were fighting against the truth. That was why God asked the Israelites to step their feet on the neck of the five kings. The action has both physical and spiritual meanings, because they were killed.

The Head: The feet of the Israelites on the neck of their enemies means permanent victory over the enemies.

Reason For Hanging

And afterward Joshua struck them and killed them, and hanged them on five trees; and they were hanging on the trees until evening. So it was at the time of the going down of the sun that Joshua commanded, and they took them down from the trees, cast them into the cave where they had been hidden, and laid large stones against the cave's mouth, which remain until this very day. Joshua 10:26,27

Holy Caleb: The Israelites hung them on the trees, because that was how evil doers were killed. All the people who committed abominations against the laws, they were nailed, hung, on the trees.

Son of man, even the FirstSon of God, Jesus Christ, was hung, crucified on the cross, but not because Jesus committed any evil or abomination. That was how God wanted it, because sinners were condemned to death, but Jesus Christ bore their punishments, to give everlasting salvation to all the children of God.

What does the tree mean?

Chukwudi: It means a human being.

Holy Caleb: Yourself answered very well.

Hanging evil doers on the tree was the style, the way of killing people who committed abominations in the ancient past, which abominations are against the laws.

Yourselves call it constitution?

Chukwudi: Yes.

Why God Gave The Israelites Everlasting Power And Victory

Then Joshua said to them,

“Henceforth, do not be afraid, nor be dismayed;

be strong and of good courage,

for thus the Lord will do to all your enemies

against whom you fight." Joshua 10:24,25

1. It is for the wellbeing of all humanity.

2. To ensure the everlasting victory of truth over falsehood.

3. To ensure everlasting victory for the children of God over the kingdom of darkness, powers of darkness and forces of darkness.

4. To make Covenant System Of Worship powerful and victorious over all forms of man-made churches, ministries and fellowships, which are numerous today, and which shall eventually fail and disappear from the face of the earth.

5. It signifies the victory of truth, righteousness and holiness over falsehood, sin and defilement.

6. To ensure that the will of God shall be done here on earth as it is in heaven.

7. To serve as a sign to the past, present and future generations that God Almighty is the only true God, the creator of the heavens and the earth. All the other gods only seem to exist but do not actually exist. Their powers are fake, and their testimonies last for a moment. But the word of God last from everlasting to everlasting.

8. The children of God have victory in all battlefronts and in all fronts.
